Advice please on dismissal with out warning. Asking for somebody else
In a job cleaning for elderly and disabled people in their homes. Often having just an hour to clean a 3 bed house. Contracted to work 20 hours a week. She has lost a few clients and now only has 12 hours a week but they still pay her the 20 hours. Today she had a call from the office to say that recently 5 people have asked for different people to do the cleaning. She asked why but they said they couldn’t tell her and the manager will ring her tomorrow. She is worried she will lose the job. Surely they should tell her what she is doing wrong so that she can have a chance to address it? A while ago one complaint was that she didn’t move ornaments just dusted round them. She said the time constraints means she can’t do the job thouroghly. She just wondered what her rights are. Thanks
