Working nights & looking after baby in the day

Just gone back to work this week . Would love to be SAHM but financially have to work so doing 2 split nights to avoid using childcare provider. My first night shift wasn't particularly challenging but I was still very tired in the morning. Managed to nap whilst DD napping and went to bed early but still feeling tired. DH also tired as up twice to feed her and then went to work when I got home. She is breast fed so I have to express milk for him to use. Would like to hear of others experience of working nights and any tips advice you might have for not ending up totally exhausted. Perhaps suggestions on what to eat for energy etc.

How did you manage with housework? Did you go to any playgroups? Do you feel working had any impact on DCs development?
