Do you become forgetful as you reach your late 40's as read somewhere that the brain stops growing then. I have a job in sales my memory is fine one day then another gone. Granted have a lot going on in the day. Any advice on how to organise or multitask in this type of environment? :-)

Not sure about age but I certainly struggled once I became a mum - I had so much in my head that I was trying to juggle I just didn't have the space for everything. I'm more forgetful at home too.

I use OneNote at work - if you've not used it, it's excellent for lists and for storing research, notes etc. It has tabs along the top where you can have lots of different topics and then each topic you can have lots of different subjects within it. For example I work in marketing and I have a social media tab at the top - when I click in I have each week of social media content on a separate sub tab. You can colour code and easy embed links etc and so much more. It also autosaves!!!

I also utilise outlook with reminders for when long term tasks need to be done. Then I have a daily to do list and a long term list.

There are lots of organisation tools that you can use. Have a Google for something like "organisation at work tools" and loads will come up. Trawl through and find out what works for you. If you're forgetful you need robust systems. Everyone tells me I have an amazing memory; it's not its shocking.

I also use OneNote a lot now, if I don't write things down I forget them. Work notebooks are stored on my work OneDrive and my home OneNote workbooks store on my personal OneDrive. I can access my personal OneDrive in work and have my personal OneNote notebooks available to view and edit there.

I work clinically and have one morning a week non-clinically so need to keep track of non-clinical tasks. I am old fashioned and still keep a hard journal that I write it all down in.

If you use Outlook calendar, do a daily To Do list then it pings up reminders automatically. Also you need to complete a task for 12 noon, then set the reminder for 10 am if you think you need 30 mins so it gives you enough time with some to spare.
