NHS Maternity pay

Hi,
I’ve worked within the NHS for five years, and I am due to go on maternity in April, I am wanting to return to work afterwards, however, I am moving house soon and getting to the hospital I currently work in would cost me too much in travel. I’m aware to get the full OMP you have to commit to returning back to a substantial post within the NHS but it does not state that it has to be within the same Trust, it just says within the NHS. Does anyone know if I were to get a new job elsewhere in the NHS (there is a hospital closer to where I would be living), that I would be fine with that?
The payroll company we have are as useful as a chocolate teacup so I’m struggling to find an answer.
Thank you x

This is from the NHS T&Cs of Service Handbook

Section 15 if you want to read into it more, but pretty clearly states it can be another NHS employer.

If your current employer tries to fight it when it comes to it, just refer them to this article, they can't argue!! X

Oh sorry you'll have to click on the pic to see section C, it's not that I've cropped it funny X

Yes, any NHS employer, I relocated 300 miles away during my Mat leave.

Just a warning, my trust didn't pay a college, who had about 15 years experience her full pay as she'd only been at our trust a few months. Had to go through our union rep and took about a year to get it. However as yours is the other way around, they'll have paid you allready, and harder to demand than withhold when your in the wrong.
