Hi there
Just trying to figure out what the norm is for working from home.
I potentially have the opportunity to take on a new role working remotely from home.
I'll have to travel on a regular basis within my region and for this I will be reimbursed.
However, part of the package is a work from home allowance and a car user allowance.
The work from home allowance is different to broadband, phoneline and mobile which is paid for. So I'm assuming it means cost of having the heating on, electricity etc.
They have been vague on what payments will be received and I just wondered if home workers would mind sharing with me what working from home allowance and car user allowance they get?
Just trying to figure out if it's actually worth my time financially.
I know companies differ but just a ballpark idea is what I need really.
Thank you
