Post Access Course career ideas? Thanks

Really need some inspiration in where I go next in terms of career change.
Have ancient psychology degree and currently studying Back to Nursing Access course.

15 years as auditor and SAHM for last 5 years.

Think I want to do something health/people related but not nursing/midwifery.

Did consider M.Sc in speech and language but the access course alone has opened my eyes to the commitment required. Realistically can't do further full time study whist kids are still young.

So what can I do?

Wish list:
Reasonable salary
Training on job or part-time learning
Mon-fri (part-time if poss) no night shifts
Working with Children
Maybe some kind of therapy based role?

Access to Nursing is very specifically tailored as an academic foundation (A level equivalency) for those applying to BSc nursing programmes, it isn’t a standalone course really. None of the access courses are, even the more generalised ones, they are all intended to be a stepping stone into Higher education. So I don’t think your access course will be particularly helpful in terms of career options if you aren’t planning to go on to do a nursing BSc.

Occupational Therapy has nice hours and you can specialise in children, once qualified. However, you will have to do a degree and placements.

FWIW, nursing is really hard. I’m an RGN and it is really tough out there. I love and hate my job in equal measure. The patient care side is fab but the politics, the funding cuts, ever growing admin and the endless scrutiny of practice and calls to do so much more with so much less is grinding , demoralising and unsafe. My registration is up for revalidation this year and I’m seriously considering whether to do it.
