Hi all, I’m really confused and hoping someone can help.
I’m 28 weeks pregnant and currently working 3 jobs.
Job 1, is my main job. I’ve been here 3.5 months but my contract with this employer ends at the end of this month, and the company taking over haven’t decided yet whether all the staff have jobs in the new year yet (but annoying 1 week before Xmas).
Job 2, I have worked here on and off for a few years and it’s a pub where I do about 15 hours a week. I can give them my form if need be and can get more hours if I want them, but only been officially back with them for about 3.5 months during my pregnancy.
Job 3 is a little part time job for the local rugby club. I’ve been working there the longest - about 2 years comtinuously, but only do about 20 hours a month.
So my question is, who do I give my maternity form to, and how much would I be entitled to? I have just changed midwives and after asking the original midwife I didn’t get much answered at all.
Any help is really appreciated!! Smile

I'd say you need to go onto the .gov website and use their SMP entitlement checker. Use the job that pays you the most and see if you're entitled to it because if you're part time on minimum wage you might find you've got to claim maternity allowance from the govt if your earnings aren't enough.

You can copy the MAT B1 form, payroll only needs a copy of the form (both sides). So you can give it to all three.
I doubt you meet the earnings requirement in job 3 - do you average at £116+ gross per week?
Job 1 I don't think you were in prior to becoming pregnant. Check the dates though. www.sdworx.co.uk/resources/smp-dates-calculator
So job 2 is most likely to be the one which would pay SMP.

Job2 - check your weekly average earnings are £116+

It may turn out that you are non-eligible in all jobs, so would then need to look at claiming Maternity Allowance. it all depends on how much you are paid in each job and how long you have been in each job.
