I've got a job interview next week. First one in a long time after be SAHP.

I done the application online and got offered the interview via email, in the email it states bring documents to prove rights to work on the UK. I'm British and have lived here all my life. What documents do i need to provide them with. I do not have a valid passport.

Can anyone help please?
TIA

It's that like birth certificate and national insurance number?
Best of luck

Birth certificate and some sort of document with your NI number on would be fine.

Driving licence, P45 or P60, National Insurance number, birth certificate.

There’s a list online. You have to bring a document from each section.

Worth baring in mind that Quite often you will need the long birth certificate that states parents names rather than the short copy.
Also proof of NI.

There's probably a standard list on the UK Gov website but meanwhile here's what UCL accept

www.ucl.ac.uk/human-resources/verifying-your-right-work-important-guidance-all-candidates

If you don't have a passport you can provide:

"A full birth or adoption certificate issued in the UK which includes the name(s) of at least one of the holder’s parents or adoptive parents, together with an official document giving the person’s permanent National Insurance number and their name issued by a Government agency or a previous employer."

Do you have an old passport? The list doesn't say the passport has to be in date.

I work in HR :)

You’ll need to provide a full birth certificate (containing the name of at least one of your parents) and an official document showing your NI number.
