Should I include my DOB/Marital Status on my CV?

As title really.

Does leaving my DOB off raise eyebrows/questions?

Most of the online templates for CVs doesn't include marital status any more.

Thanks as always.

I wouldn’t/don’t. It doesn’t have any bearing on my ability to do a job.

No. They can't use it as a factor in employing you (it would be age discrimination.) DoB and marital status are both irrelevant on a CV.

?? I'm confused as to why you would ever have put them on a CV. Unless you're not in the UK?

No, neither of them have any place on a CV and I'd raise my eyebrows to see them.

I’m a recruiter and I’d say don’t put them on. I take all those details off anyway when I send a cv to a client.

Years ago it used to be standard data to include as was Non Smoker!

I won't include them. Thank you for the swift replies. Much appreciated.

Some people put on the names of their husband, children and dogs. No need!

I can't see the point in putting marital status.

I've been told you shouldn't put your date of birth on a CV, but it is going to be fairly obvious roughly how old you are anyway from the dates of any qualifications, and also you usually have to put it on application forms anyway.
