I'm entitled to working tax credits, I currently get child tax credits however in my previous temporary job I only worked 8 hrs, reason I'm asking is I've been paid quite amount of money (well it is for me ) by the tax credits people and I've rang and queried it and apparently they didn't include my dh income which is why i got the amount i did and its being rectified, but as I now work over 16hrs I think I'm entitled to working tax credits and I now wonder whether the figure i have is correct (sorry for if this is confusing) I have rang them twice and they will be sending out a new award but tbh its really confusing me

i think you should be entitled to working tax credits and help with your childcare costs but it all depends on your joint income. Its so confusing isn't it! No wonder no one else has replied... they over-awarded us and i phoned to tell them this on 5 occasions but they said we wouldn't have to pay anything back - but now we do have to and although its fine, i was quite annoyed!

I work part time and hubby works full time, as our joint income is over 25k we dont qualify for WTC or help with childcare and just get the standard £40 a month payment. Your joint income has to be quite low to get WTC - childcare element cut-off point is £25k.

Put your details into entitledto.co

Tax credits are based on your income and number of children. Our joint income is considerably more than £25k and we will be entitled to help with childcare when I go back to work.

Unfortunatly is sounnds like you will prob be entitled to nothing, and also have possibly, have to pay some back - becasue they are stupid and should have included your dh's income - and if your combined salary is over the threashold - you would not be entitled to any - we aren't.
Another person in a mess - becasue of their error- what a shame
