Re-use of baby clothing service

Hello!
I'm a young entrepreneur and I want to set up a service making re-use of baby clothing (using second hand) easy and accessible. Essentially, it would be a subscription to curated bundles, in the bundle size you choose. I would collaborate with charities to supply the clothes as well as accept clothing from parents in exchange for vouchers. What do you think?
Where would I find my customers?
Do you think it is important for customers that I have a social enterprise (not for profit business looking to support children-related causes)?
All input/thoughts are very welcome.
Thanks!

Thank you all for your feedback. Some of the things I had thought of, some not.
I am thinking ages 0-24 months - I see that I left out that detail - and being quite selective in terms of quality, colours, style etc., without having decided on any particular brands yet.

Is it bundlee you are thinking of or is there yet another service out there already that I haven't discovered?

I do think it's ideal that people share among themselves and it's great to hear that so many of you are doing that! So much still gets exported (the UK is the largest exporter of second-hand clothing in Europe) or burned, though, and I just really want to do something about it Smile

I couldn't see this working for many many reasons. If the clothes are second hand in the first place, by the time they've been washed and worn several times by one or two babies they're probably not going to be in a fit state to justify charging someone money to use them again, even quality baby clothes. Baby clothes aren't that expensive, and you don't have the responsibility of ensuring they're stain free etc. They're easy to get rid of, either by selling, recycling, charity shops or baby banks. The majority of people having a baby enjoy picking clothes themselves. Sending someone a bundle you risk it not being to their taste.

Equipment hire may be more viable, but again you can pick it up so cheap second hand now selling sites are flooded with the stuff and again after frequent use by 2 babies it's probably not going to be in as good condition as something you can buy second hand

This would be more hassle than just buying a bundle on eBay. It might work for more expensive things or things that are used rarely - like snowsuits, wetsuits, that sort of thing.

Hello again everyone! Thank you so much for all the feedback. I am rethinking things, and I had a thought - would you be interested in an app connected to the service, to track your baby's development so that the service could be truly personalised? Would this change anything for you?

Nope sorry. Too much hassle and too many variables. Sizes aren’t standard.
