Should I leave or battle on?

I've been in my job 7 months. It's Finance related. I've got no history of finance and told the interviewers this.
The old post holders retired together and training was minimal to say the least.
Nobody knows how to do the job, not the Manager. There is absolutely no useful support.
I taught myself how to do assessments from a manual. But there are many grey areas...nobody can help.
My work has to be checked...by a mgr with their own busy workload.
Said manager knows what i know.
There's a 3 month backlog on assessments and i cannot see any light.
The rest of the job is backlogged too. The stress is affecting me. I'm part time and don't work over as no pay.
I've tried but I'm tempted to hand in my notice..with nothing to go to.
Wwyd?

I’d look for another job and then hand in my notice.

I'm looking.

Id be looking for something else, it sounds stress that you dont need. What is your ideal job.

Kemer2018 · 01/10/2018 16:45

Minimal people contact.
Projects
Organising
I like computers and excel
Setting up systems
I've got a good memory.

Ideally, I'd be a roller skating instructor. Or a spot squeezer.

Not much call for that here though.

Spot squeezer! I'd ike that to. You would easily get a job in my local library with those skillsGrin, not the squeezing or skating skill.
