Leaving term time only job

I'm support staff in a secondary school, working 20 hours a week for 42 weeks. I get paid over 12 months so the pay is spread out.

I've handed my notice in, and am leaving in 4 weeks time. How does this work? Will I have accrued any holiday (I get 10 days, some I work it out to be around .5 of a day- 2 hours!)? And if my pay is spread over 12 months then I'm not getting paid 20 hrs a week, am I? It's more like 15, is that right? So over my months notice period I would be paid for 60 hours despite working 80, so they owe me 20 hours of pay?
Head is muddled- please help!!

When is the anniversary of your start date and how many paid weeks are in your contract? At my school they will calculate the holiday due from the anniversary of your start date so if you started on the 1st of April three and a half years ago they would calculate the holiday due since the 1st April this year, take off the number of days holiday you have taken including school closure days and pay the balance. I would contact your payroll department or HR as soon as possible because it can be complicated calculation depending on your start date and at certain points in the year you will have been over or underpaid because it is spread over the year. You may be at the point where you have been overpaid because you have just had the long summer holiday.
