Making Money on Maternity Leave

Hello fellow mums! I'm looking at making some extra pocket money while on maternity leave. I've been looking at online surveys but it's taking a long time just to earn £1 and there's not always surveys everyday either.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Cheers! Xx

if you are creative then you could sell things you make on etsy.com

depending on your area you could advertise doing ironing? My friend did that while she was on maternity she charged £5 for a small bag (tesco size) & she did well! (taken from a netmums post)

you could also try direct selling dsa.org.uk/sellers/

all the best x

Hiya, I'm on maternity leave too and have been trying to make a few extra pounds. Yes the online surveys can take a while to earn anything but I found the best one is I-say. Even if you don't qualify for a survey because they've already got enough people in your demographic, you usually get 10-25 points just for your time. You can cash in 196 points to get a £2 amazon voucher. I managed to get on a survey where I had to complete a daily record of my spending (not much!) for 4 weeks and I earned £15 just for that.

I had a clear out of old cds and sent them to music magpie, didn't earn much but better than nothing as I was only going to get rid of them.

Also as I've just had my second and last child, I have sold a lot of maternity clothes on eBay and they have sold really well.

You can try selling stuff on facebook market place.

People will usually pick it up so you don't need to deal with postage.

I got rid of unwanted baby presents and unopened formula.
