Anyone know about NHS Agenda for change pay scales?

I have an interview for an admin job within the NHS which I'm excited about.
It's band 4 and the salary advertised is slightly less than I'm on now but I think I would enjoy it so am considering taking the hit if I'm fortunate to get it.

I am a little confused though as the salary shown on the advert seems to show the pay scale for 2017/2018. I've had a quick Google and the band 4 pay scale for 2018/2019 is higher and much closer to my current salary.

I guess my questions are; when does the 2018/2019 banding kick in? Is it possible that the older salary was published on the advert?

I know I'm probably jumping the gun a bit but it would be nice to go to the interview knowing that the salary might be a bit more than I thought!

New pay kicks in this month.

If you are new to the NHS, you'll start at the bottom of the payscale.

Thanks for replying @stressedoutpa so if I was to start in August (again should I be successful) I would be on the pay scale?
I know I will be at the bottom but the £1000 a year more between pay scales would make a huge difference Smile

Yes, you should be.

DH works for the NHS and the new payscales in his Trust kick in from July onwards.

I'd apply but just double check with them. Maybe they didn't put it on the ad as they weren't sure when it would apply.
