Moving away from patient care/working from home as a nurse

I’m a nurse who would like to take the plunge and move into a role that is less clinical. In a dream world I would like something that has the potential to be home based working too.
I’ve been looking at either PIP assessor or case management for an insurance company - along those lines anyway.
Are there any nurses/HCPs here who have done similar roles and moved away from direct patient care?
Any nurses that work from home at all?

I work in audit / clinical governance type role for NHS. Whilst we do have an office I have a laptop and phone and often work from home, as do most others in the team.
How about nurse assessor / unreachable type nursing? So you might start the day at home, do a visit, then finish the day at home typing up your assessment.

Inreach nurse obviously, not unreachable.

The unreachable type sounds quite nice Wink
