I have been employed by the company for over 12 years.
Am I right in assuming I have the following legal rights : 12 weeks notice i.e. either I would need to work those 12 weeks and be paid for them or receive payment in lieu of notice
PLUS
12 weeks redundancy pay ?
Company have written to me quoting redundancy pay (12 weeks x salary) as a gross total and saying this figure is BEFORE deductions in lieu of notice ?
I have a consultation meeting coming up and will ask these questions but would like to know facts and I will go to CAB if I think they are not paying me the legal requirements.
