Virgin Vie v Body Shop consultant

I am seeing a VV area manager tomorrow night, as I am thinking of being a party consultant. The products are nice (although a bit too expensive IMHonestO). I suddenly thought that I would probably prefer The Body Shop, as most people are happy with their poducts, and I personally love them, so would be able to praise them adequately.

Has anyone ever done this party plan thingummyjig? And, if so, how much effort is involved in doing it?

Advice please, thank you.

Just a quick note from me. I was a VV conmsultant for about a year. Personall I found it very enjoyable but very time consuming for the money and time you had to put in. You could defo go very far and make a lot of money but the effort had to be there and you had to really go for it with your contacts. It took ages to place orders on the internet, half the time the products were out of stock and YOU would have to pay the postage again when they came in stock. Refunds were hard to do and accepting payments by 3 diff methods was frustrating. However I got loads of fab products and although a little expensive the promotions and tools you were able to use sold other products. I didn;t make a huge amount. Say between £30-£60 per party and I did one per week. The managers can also be very pushy although mine was fab, was very lucky. Good luck if you do it, it';s great fun just a lot of effort!
