Preparing social media posts: How much do you charge?

I'm preparing a quote for a client and I could do with some guidance on what people charge. My works is 99% writing articles and blogs, but this potential client also wants (in addition to articles) 15 tweets and 3 Facebook/LinkedIn posts prepared (a month). This is a niche area (ie. law/finance/tax) - what shall I quote? Guidance please!

It depends how long you think the work will take you!

Sounds like a maximum of 1.5 hours a work if you know your stuff, maybe a bit more if you need to research it.

I had to quote for something similar (ish) recently and like you it's not what I 'normally' offer.

In the end I prepared a practice one of each (was just Linked In and Twitter for me) based around the sort of content they would want (not just re-purposing / sharing content) and once I had that time rounded up and X by the amount per month.

Eg:

1 x Linked in - 15 mins
1 X tweet - 5 mins
1 x FB - 10 mins

BUT then you need to be clear if you are also responsible for tracking and replying to any comments or enquiries that are made because of them too? Does the topic need to be different across each platform or the same? If it's the same then obviously it's going to be much quicker than the above. Mine also including sourcing suitable imagery or video.
