Flexible working denied. Appeal help needed!

I wondered if anyone could help me write an appeal letter as my flexible work request was refused.
They've given a list as long as my arm of why not and apparently my role now includes visiting another site one day a week (50 miles away)! I went back on a trial for 12 months part time after my first was born and this continued for 13 months till I went off with my second... It worked well, I had zero reviews and zero negative comments.

Please help as I really don't want to go back full time!

I guess what you need to do is find a counter argument for each of their points. So if you need to work at a different site would you still be able to do that if you went part time?

Gizlot gives good advice. Just address the points they've made one by one. I don't think visiting a site 50 miles away is very reasonable at all. Are you in a Union? But in the end they do have the right to turn down a request for flexible working. But the fact that you did it for 13 months without a problem should work in your favour.

Thanks for the advice

There is no obligation on the part of the employer to grant flexible working so you can argue until you're blue in the face and it won't make a jot of difference.
