Better direct selling companies?

Hi,

I think I may need to do direct selling to get some money in, I wasn’t convinced by these but maybe it might work?!

What are the ‘better’ ones out there? Looking for a really low to no start up cost. I’m not interested in doing the build your team thing and I would like a product that is good value for money. I don’t want to do make up or juice plus etc. Or usbourne as around me there is a lot of people doing these.

I can do stalls at craft fairs but can’t do parties unless online as I can’t commit to certain hours as it needs to fit around childcare and my husbands hours.

I like the jewellery ones but seem very expensive to join. Likewise weleda was also for me quite expensive to join.

What am I left with? I’ve looked at Phoenix cards (can’t remember the new name) but no one has got back to me.

I recently signed up with Neal's Yard. I'm not actually selling yet, but went with them because of the ethics and I love the products. A lot of their reps are therapists that sell on the side as part of their business. I was thinking of incorporating it into another business and went ahead and bought the kit so I could try stuff and because feet had a deal on in January. Kit is £95 I believe.

Btw, you'll get loads of people on here that say direct sales is terrible! I think if you have realistic expectations and you love the products you may do ok.

The body shop at home products are lovely and great ethics behind there brand lots of team support and recognition. We do have a start up fee its £45 but you get everything you need with that including £220 worth of products. I started last yr and habe made extra money for the kids days out and for savings. If youve got more questions I'm happy to answer them. You dont have to recruit and build a team if thats your preference. Im currently in the process of building a team but it was totally my decision as im now taking my business further as my youngest is due to start preschool soon. I manage it around my children I have 4 and havent done a single party yet. My email is [email protected]
