I started a new job on Monday and I'm concerned.
It's part time in a different area to my usual roles.
I'm excited to learn the job, do well and stay put.
However, I'm feeling really overwhelmed.
The role will have 2 people, both new, myself and a full timer with the same job title and description.
I've started but my counterpart starts mid April.
The job is also new to her.
The 2 people who exist in post are retiring VERY soon.
There really is an overwhelming amount of systems, software, calculations and processes to get to grips with. Now, I relish a challenge (my usual jobs are DULL and easy).
I'm really pleased for this opportunity but I cannot see myself getting much before they retire. My ft counterpart will have had 1.5 days training when she starts mid April.
Any ideas how I can do it?
