Nhs grievance

Hello. I'm seriously considering taking a grievance against the team I'm on mat leave from. The behaviour of management is disgusting and I'm hoping to get another job and move on. How do I go about this and is taking a grievance really worth it?

You could speak to your union rep if you have one. In the n.h.s. there is a grievance policy which you can get a copy of. Would you consider speaking to occy health and seeing if you could get redeployed to another department. What sort of job do you do, it can be stressful taking on a grievance, especially with a new baby.

I have experience of putting in a grievance in the NHS.

It didn't end well and I had to find a new job and they are still hounding me even when I emailed that I want to drop the case due to the mental strain they were causing x

If you're hoping to get a new job and move on, think about what do you hope to get out of putting in a grievance. It could tie you to the job longer while they investigate the facts (it would be emotionally challenging trying to attend and perform confidently at interview with that hanging over you) , and then the risk is they don't uphold it, so you're no better off than just getting a new job and making a fresh start.

I had issues in nhs job when I was pregnant and I told HR I had got legal advice and they soon got their act together and that was enough for me - is that an option?
