Communal toilets

My NHS employer has decided that we will have communal staff toilets in the area I work the most in.
Basically this consists of two attached cubicles, non private with large gaps at the top and bottom of the cubicles so you can hear someone next door having a poo and unwrapping tampax etc.
One morning a big burly bloke was in the cubicle right next door, I could hear everything he was doing and I just left. I didn't want him to hear me going to the toilet I was quite distressed about it as I have issues with men.
On other occasions they have left the toilets filthy, not used the brush, pee'd on the floor and left the toilet seat up.
i am fed up with being too intimidated to use the toilet and having to clear up a man's dirty mess before I can even sit down.
My boss refuses to listen and says we must be "inclusive". i would be ok with transgender, not a problem but we have none working here!
What can I do if anything to stop this? All the female staff are fed up.

parker, you are not wrong, there are recorded cases of this, along with the upskirt photo pervs etc.

OP I hope you get a proper resolution to this.

Our loos have just gone unisex. I know females can leave toilets in a mess but the mess now is much worse, piss on every floor. However each cubicle is one lockable room with no gaps and a sink and mirror in the cubicle. I don't go to the loo as much. Cystitis anyone?

oh Time, I hadn't really thought of that tbh. I've never met any men who have horrible habits like the ones you see described on MN but I also don't hang around men's toilets, obvs!!
