How do you find it? Do you think it's worth it? Or is it lots of hassle chasing orders and postage etc? Is the profit worth it? Could it be classed as a part time job?

Don't waste your breath Orange Teddy - they want to bring down every MLM, and they never believe you when you have a positive story to tell. I've got a friend who does Usborne, she loves it.

Orangereddy I'm afraid I disagree with you about the DSA and pyramid schemes. The DSA means nothing. They are a group that represent the interests of the companies. They do not lend legitimacy to a scheme. They have had full on illegal pyramid schemes in their membership before.

In the U.K. you have illegal and legal pyramid schemes. The difference is defined in law, it has nothing to do with the DSA. If a scheme does not follow the letter of the law, it is an illegal pyramid scheme. If the scheme involves you recruiting and earning money through your downlines, it is a pyramid scheme. The rules are like you say- must sell a product, must have buy back guarantees, and other rules.

Usbourne have their problems. The biggest ones being the conduct of the CEO on the stock market, have you heard about his dodgy promises? There are people claiming he is breaking the law.

I think you are referring to the American division when you talk of the CEO & stock market? This is under totally different ownership.

The American division is owned by the U.K. section.

It's probably not worth getting into the semantics but yes Usborne Publishing own the US division & also the UK direct sales division however in themselves they are not related other than having the same parent company. A bit like saying don't buy from Robert Dyas or Rymans if you don't like the way Boux Avenue measure for bra sizes as they all have the same owner.
