I know it's along the lines of administrative... I assume.

The salary and location are fabulous for me, so I'm hoping it's suitable.

The Information Department are looking to employ an Information Analyst for a contract period of 1 year.

Although NHS experience is not required, an enthusiastic logical approach is essential.

The Information Department provides reporting to internal departments and external organisations on activities carried out within the Trust.

We work closely with both the IT and Finance Departments here, ensuring a high quality services and accurate billing is provided.

It seems interesting, have you used crystal reports and sql before? It asks for these.

If not, I would make sure you're shit hot on excel prior to the interview and can give examples of new systems you have picked up quickly and how you've used them to design and/or generate reports.

You'll need to understand data cleansing and dashboards, and I would look at what kind of information would potentially be useful to show on a dashboard if you were offered the role. What information would be the first thing you'd want to see when you got in every day?

Make sure you have examples of working to deadlines, gathering data requirements from stakeholders and translating these into reports, and go armed with details of what you would like training on and how you would approach the role in your first 3 months.
