I'm new here so hope I am posting in the correct place
I am in my current job almost 6 years. In this time we have gone through a number of aqqusitions and change! Pre pregnancy I found the environment and pressure unbearable so as you can imagine now that I'm over 5 months I am truly unable to cope. With this throw in management stating I'm not doing enough and a open hr case against a male colleague for unacceptable behaviour I am at the point of breakdown.
I suffer with wild anxiety which I can normally keep under control but that is all out the window now
I have an appointment with my GP in a few days. He is aware of the stress situation and recently certed me off for 2 weeks rest. He wanted to put work related stress on the note but I asked to put illness on it as I didn't want to have HR asking questions and wanting to follow up once I returned about work stress
My question if doctor this time suggests rest leave again do I get work related stress on the note or pregnancy illness?
Whatever I decide I want to be sure it doesn't start my maternity leave early, affect my mat pay or have further dealings with HR if I go the stress route. Thanks in advance
