Hi,
i have been offered a part time role which is flexible, would fit in ideal with my DD and with a possibility of working a few hours each week from home. The money is ok but not great.
I went to an interview a few weeks ago and told them i only wanted part time. I didnt get that job but they did offer me a full time role. The package is great - but it's full time.
I really dont know what to do as I am so torn. The money would come in very handy, but i would hate to leave my DD all week. I went back to work part time when DD was 5 months and although i dont feel to have missed out on anything; i know that if i went back full time now i would as she is such lovely company (most of the time!)
I know it's an age old question and one people have to make every day; can anyone offer me any advice having made the decision and knowing what they know now?
tia.
(i am going out now but will be back later!)

oh and i should mention we would like to ttc in the next few months

Keep trying to find something else. It sounds as though full time isn't for you. You never get those years back, and you will find pt work eventually.

If it's any help, you could try invigilation for exams (you know, that person with the squeaky shoes who walks up & down), they're recruiting now for June. Easy peasy work, casual (so you can leave if something else comes up) and schools & unis need people because teachers aren't allowed to do it any more. They also have exams in Nov & Jan.
