WHAT CAN I DO TO EARN EXTRA MONEY?

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can suggest something that I can do to earn some extra money. I go back to work from Maternity leave in June, but part time at my work is only 6 days a month, so I was wondering if there is anything I can do from home that would earn me some extra. I have quite a few skills, but not sure where to start!
Thanks Lisa x

If you want to work from home you could try;
Avon Rep
Betterware Rep
Ann Summers Party Rep ( could be fun )
Marie Clare Party Rep (make up)

if you've got typing/office skills etc you could advertise in the local paper to do typing jobs. Might not bring in a great deal though.

www.homeworking.com looks to be a good site, advertises home working jobs and advises on scams and stuff.

God I'm a fountain of knowledge tonight.

childminding? - thinking specifically after school care? I know you would have to go through the registration process though.

Ironing can be done in your own home too

Lots of marketing companies advertise for people to stuff envelopes, which you can do at home, or have you thought of being a mystery shopper? I read about that somewhere recently, I can't remember where, sorry if that's rubbish. Might be worth googling. I seem to remember they do pay, not sure how much though. I used to do a lot of typing in my student days too, but that was in the days before computers were everywhere (God I'm old!!) it was quite lucrative!

Ive just started doing Kleeneze which is ok a bit of an outlay to start with and lots of delivery I sometimes do it will the buggy sometimes the car - have got quite a few orders in the first couple of weeks.

I have also just signed up to Usborne Childrens books as a rep and going to sell jewellery in the same way for a MN Funkijunkmummy she has an advert on the jobs site - I am going back to my job in 2 months and want to get these things started before hand I will be doing 3 days p/t I have 2 young boys 2 1/2 & 6 months so normal job wont have much left after childcare & travel - NETMUMS.com has lots of adverts

Can you cook - ring around your local pubs to see if they are interested in having fresh home made desserts made at a charge of £2-2.50 per portion. Things like cheesecake, crumble, gateau etc

Try signing up with retaileyes.com for mystery shopping. you pivk and choose which you want to do, the only hassle being that the report has to be sent by a certain date and filled in just how the client wants. It starts at only £5 a job, but that can only take 10 mins, and you get something free eg a drink, meal, eyetest etc (you have a spending limit). Then the £5 goes up the more jobs you do.

Hi all, I have been a member of this site for two years now and wanted to share my success as a Working From Home Mum. I have managed to survive thanks to becoming an AVON Rep. I am now a Sales Leader. To read more about my story see lisaglover.myavon.co.uk
