wasn't there a number to ring?

Miaou · 23/01/2007 11:16

What a PITA nailpolish!!

How bloody rude of them too. Doesn't show them in a good light does it?

Jessajam · 23/01/2007 11:17

That's terrible!

You have double checked the time, date and venue haven't you?

Better off not working for that sort of (dis) organisation!!

Fimbo · 23/01/2007 11:18

hope they have a good excuse! Tell them you want refunded for child care and a taxi!

nailpolish · 23/01/2007 11:18

i phoned the sister office and they tried to ring the interviewer, they called me back and said they were sorry they couldnt get in touch with her

(maybe shes had an accident or something?)

they said they will arrange another date, i then lost it slightly and said thats easy for you to say, i have childcare problems etc etc blah blah

Fimbo · 23/01/2007 12:41

Have you heard anymore from them NP?

expatinscotland · 23/01/2007 12:42

Unless it was a dream job, I'd consider taht finished.

I mean, they can't be bothered to phone?

Imagine how they treat their customers.

moondog · 23/01/2007 12:42

Have to agree - I work in recruitment and have had drummed into me that it is essential to give the interviewee a good impression of the company - interviews work both ways in that both parties need to decide if the job is appropriate - sounds to me like a shoddy organisation - would step back if I were you.

Fimbo · 23/01/2007 12:45

Surely the sister company must know by now what has happened to her. I don't blame you for being angry.

nailpolish · 23/01/2007 12:46

i agree fimbo

i thought this country was desperate for nurses?

no bloody wonder

OP posts:
Jessajam · 23/01/2007 12:47

I'm agog to hear what the excuse is!

nailpolish · 23/01/2007 14:48

she still hasnt phoned

OP posts:
Fimbo · 23/01/2007 14:54

I am still in that they haven't had the decency to phone you. Unless of course she has gone awol.

nailpolish · 23/01/2007 14:56

the only reason i can think of fimbo is that she was on her way and was involved in an accident on the road or something

?

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 23/01/2007 15:17

No, I'd never tell them to stick it, just tell them you're no longer interested/another opportunity has arisen.

nailpolish · 23/01/2007 15:19

it depends what the reason is

i think i would go for another interview tbh

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 23/01/2007 15:19

So far, though, they've not given you any reason.

nailpolish · 23/01/2007 15:20

unless shes lying in intensive care and they are all rushing to her beside...
