There's a lot of information on the internet but I'm not quite getting my head around how you prorate holiday entitlement for a part time worker.
Contract is for 18 hour per week (which is 0.5 FTE). Hours are worked over 4 days. Should the annual holiday entitlement be prorated on the basis of percentage hours worked ie 50% or the number of days worked? The working hours aren't the same amount on each of the 4 days which makes things even more complicated.
Please can anyone help me with this, I have looked at this for too long for it to make sense anymore iyswim!
