I am starting up an Adopt a Grandparent/Grandchild Agency

Hi.

I am in the process of starting up an adopt a grandparent/child agency and would like to hear from anyone who may be interested. I would also like to hear from anyone who would be willing to answer some research questions regarding the 'adoption' process.

We are in the early stages, but hoping to get it up and running by the beginning of next year.

Cheers

Charlotte

A couple of years ago a group of friends and I decided to set up adopt a gran, we are living around the Epsom area but being active ladies were happy to travel some distance. This scheme which was free andndone because we felt we were missing out on family life having no grandchildren being successful. There are now other active police checked ladies willing to be matched. If this sounds like it could be something that may benefit your family then please get in touch. Please email myself for more information [email protected] for further information.

Did mean to mention in the posting about adopt a gran that we very much welcome families here from abroad that may find themselves in this situation of being without grandparents. Also families that have experienced family breakup for whatever reason.

Hi lottie
Did you ever do this ? I have a young woman in mind who fairly desperately needs a grandmother figure

I love the idea of becoming a surrogate nan. I am now retired and my son is an adult.
I live in Coventry if anyone is interested.

What an amazing idea there's plenty of people like myself whose children either live far away or have decided not to have children. I work as a homeless office for the local authority where I live and I see so many families in despair. I do what I can my point is I'd live this
