Targeting freelancers for training

I'm working on the content for a course that I hope to attract freelancers to - about client management and engagement. However, I'm not sure where to advertise once I'm ready to roll it out. Does anyone have any ideas - I'm going to target independent industry bodies in various industries as an obvious first choice. (although part of my preparation is working out what industries have the kind of freelancers I'm talking to). And similarly, I'm looking at industry newspapers etc. But what about web forums? I've heard of some of these freelance job search sites? Any that I should particularly look at?

I would consider a Facebook and Twitter campaign.

Am possibly being dim - do you mean freelancers who would then deliver your content for you ?
Not sure it matters though - surely Linked in is your route ? If you know who are looking for they may well be groups you can join / approach.

As a freelancer I use social media a lot.

Do you have local business networking groups / start-up groups etc near you? I would have thought that would be a good source of potential clients - you may also want to look at a speaking opportunity at these kind of groups to 'give away' a small nugget of your expertise, as a kind of taster session, with the hope of selling a full training course on the back of it.
