If a part time job is advertised with a salary "pro-rated" what does that mean?

I do understand what pro-rata is, honest! But I'm looking at a part time job for 22 hours, with a salary of c£15,000, pro-rated. So, would you read that as FTE is £15,000 or what the salary would actually be?

FTE is 15K, so if full time would be 40 hours for that job, your salary would be £8250 for 22 hours.

I would suspect it's £15k for full time, worth checking what they count as FT because in my sector they reckon 44 hrs a week is full time.I disagree

I think that means FTE is 15,000 otherwise they wouldn't say it's pro-rata. That's how I'd read it.

Agree - FT salary is £15k - probably for a 40 hour week. So you would divide 15,000 by 40 and multiply the result by 22 for the 22 hour rate.

This gives £8250.
