Haven't you already asked this or was that someone else asking the exact same question?

What do mean is it "ok" to be paid average in weekly instalments? Ok by who? Who do you think might have a problem with that?

Unexpected · 14/04/2015 10:41

Yes, the OP has already asked this question and a variation of it under at least one, and possibly two, other user names. I'm not sure what the problem is OP, do you not believe the advice you are getting on other threads? Why do you keep posting the same question under different names?

Sorry only just seen this message and I'm posting it as im a constant worrier and I just want a good answer from this forum as another website I'm been given such mixed advice my head is ready to explode anyway I claim tax credits at 24 hours a week I work 3 weeks of 23 and 1 week of 27 the 4 hours is variable so could be any week of the month this is all iv been offered for now tax credits have told me it's fine to average my pay over the month to give me 24 a week but I'm been told on another forum and by other people your not allowed to average tax credits so what do I do does anybody have any expert helpful advice please I'm worrying myself silly thank you in advance I may be a pain keep posting this question sorry

If tax credits have told you this is fine why are you still seeking multiple opinions from less knowledgeable people on a variety of forums? Surely tax credits are the "expert" help you are seeking?

hollygarside28 · 19/04/2015 00:26

Because on another forum I was told did I take the advisors name as this could be disputed in the futute as you can't average your hours and has totally freaked me out basically i just wanted to see if anybody else was in a similar situation

Then it would probably be best to call tax credits back, ask the question again and get the name of the adviser you speak to, if this is going to relieve your anxiety over the issue. Posting the same question under multiple names on various chat boards is just going to give you a variety of responses from anonymous people who may, or may not, know what they are talking about.

Yes that's what I'm going to do after work tomorrow

Hope u got sorted. I know exactly how you feel. I am always worrying about tax creds. Mine and Hubby's income was four thousand pound more this tax year just gone so I was worrying about ringimg tax creds to tell them before April 5th so that we don't get massive overpayment. Then I was worrying is the disregard five thousand and we were OK to earn four thousand more? Should I have told them before? A close FAM member has said I do tend to get a bit paranoid about it all but I can't help it. Just saying I understand how you feel. Maybe you could get them to do a letter confirming what they have said?
