Anxious

There are some jealous folk on her who spout rubbish when it comes to tax credits, and no they can't stand people having something they aren't entitled to. I didn't say you were in this camp.

I really don't see that anybody is being fraudulent here.
The OP makes the time up, its not like the claim is for more hours than the OP is working.

ok i think my only option here is to ask my employer if i can physically work the extra hour a week if not to have my wage slips changed back to 23 hours and inform tax credits that my hours are 23 hours then any overtime i do will be extra

Hey hun I would think that with the overtime u are definitely averaging around twenty four hours a week. For peace of mind you could ring tax credits and I'm sure they will say the same. Hope you get sorted. Smile

On the return your employer gives to the HMRC every time they pay you (now its real time) they have to say how many hours on average you work.
Categories are less than 16, 16-24, 24-30 and more than 30.
So they know what your employer says ...they must say 24-30...so you would be fine anyway....no reason for TC to say you are lying...
(If the figures didn't agree then they would look into it)

hayleysbabies · 08/04/2015 12:29

does anybody know if even though i now have fixed hours at 23,23,23,24 can my employer still pay me for 24 hours a week as im payed weekly and it would be easier for me to still get same pay every week is this still allowed

OP posts:
DelGirl · 09/04/2015 07:17

I imagine that's up to your employer but if not, your 4th week will be 27 not 24 won't it? A nice bonus for the end of the month Wink

hayleysbabies · 09/04/2015 07:51

yes my mistake fourth week will be a 27 id much prefer to get the same pay every week
