Advice needed, 17 weeks pregnant no risk assessment

Hi, I'm 17 weeks pregnant with my first child . I work full time as a housekeeper.(5daysva week).I told my manager I was pregnant at 7 weeks as I was concerned about my work load and heavy lifting. 10 weeks later still no risk assessment. I stand on my feet all day from 9.30 and don't finish most days until 3/4pm. We get a 15 minute break no matter what we work. I am expected to do a lot of work and finding it is getting harder now. I'm worried as I use loads of chemicals have to carry heavy things, most days I get out of breath, I can't even sit down and feel like walking out but the concern of having no money is worrying, I don't know what I'd be able to claim if anything. The mangers high up are ment to be doing my risk assessment with my manager I don't have anyone to turn to and I'm desperate for advice.

They don't legally have to carry out a new specific risk assessment for you (though many employers do). They do have to review their assessment which should have considered pregnant women in general to see if still appropriate. Do you know it definitely hasn't been done? You should ask if it has been carried out and the conclusions - and mention your specific concerns.

You are however legally entitled to more frequent rest breaks. Exact details need to be agreed with you and employer.

If it would help, your GP or midwife could provide a medical note specifying things that would not be acceptable.
