How do I recruit self employed HR professionals?

Hi all,

I am planning on setting up a company which will provide full HR services to a franchise network in the UK. I am currently the Head of HR of the central company, and have made the decision to move to a self employed position. However, they are keen to keep me so have asked me to set up this company. I would be self employed, and the team working for me would be self employed. It's an amazing opportunity.

Couple of things....

  1. I need people who wish to work for me on a self-employed basis across the country; what is the best way to find these people? I am a mummy of two small children and part of my challenge has been to "fit" back into the Corporate world. I would love to work with other people in my kind of position; ie blue-chip trained but who don't want the 9-5 (or 8 til 7!) anymore.
  1. Does anyone have experience of pricing a company of this nature?

(I also put this question on the start-ups thread)

Any advice welcome

Many thanks

Doesn't sound self employed to me either but then you are the HR professional.

HMRC will have a field day

Just advertised as you would for any other position in HR specialist publications I would have thought.

What pricing do you mean? Charging clients? Get on LinkedIn as there is lots of information on there.

Via Cipd? I would drop the reference to mummies......

Are you saying you just want other 'mummies'?
