I have asked to put in what I do so that I can get my job re-evaluated (it has changed quite significantly).
It's using the GLPC job evaluation scheme that most public sector organisations use.
I have put in a dry run and it's come back lower that what I earn now! I've been told that I need to sell myself and use words like 'lead', 'autonomy' etc. etc. I'm not very good at selling myself and tend to talk about 'we implemented this' instead of 'I'.
My salary won't decrease as the job evaluation just won't happen if I can't get it right, so, does anyone work within public sector who can help me. How can I get across that my role is creative/has autonomy/needs skills etc.
