I have looked at loads of websites offering home working but have never heard of any of the companies before. I am not keen to part with money to start something up, to a company I know nothing about.

Any MNer's out there working for a well-known company from home that could give me a recommendation??

Avon? Kleeneze? Betterware?

i havent worked for any of them but they are all pretty well known.

or you could come and do ANN SUMMERS like me lol

usbourne books and phoenix cards are both fairly established

I like the idea of Avon, but DH not keen for me to be out collecting money / delivering catalogues in the winter.

Did Ann Summers a v long time ago and really enjoyed it, however, I can't be out of the house in the evenings which is when most parties happen.

Will try Kleeneze and Betterware, thanks ladies!!

How old are your chidren? If still at the baby/toddler stage, then how about something like www.mamatoto.co.uk? Friend of mine does it and really enjoys it.

DD is 3 and DS is 2 weeks.

That looks good legacy. I wonder how much commission they pay? DO you think that people buy things like that at a party?

twickersmum · 07/10/2006 13:18

Have you had a look at mamatoto? They have been up and running for a few years now and also have a website. www.mamatoto.co.uk or e-mail [email protected] for more information.

Kleeneze you have to pay set-up and ongoing costs for supplies like the all important books.

Betterware you don't.

I'd recommend Phoenix cards - I know several mums who work for them and they're very happy with the company. Plus the products are really nice quality and don't take up much space!
