My dad had a 'complaint' made about him at work and it got completely blown out of proportion and was told he could face a suspension - anyway after a couple of days of worrying it has turned out that it wasn't really a complaint about him specifically after all and the head office just took it upon themselves to escalate it, but what's happened is his manager was supposed to call the customer to sort this out and didn't bother.
It has now came to light he is being sloppy in his work and not following company procedures and is now facing a disciplinary and is phoning him up saying that he has kid and a family and if he gets the sack he is going to make sure my dad does to. Despite the fact that he is no longer in trouble and did nothing wrong in the first place
He saw this guy as someone he could trust before however when he believed he may be facing suspension he didn't care about the fact my dad has a family ect aswell and just hung him out to dry basically.
Sorry but of a long one I just wondered if anyone had any advice?....
Btw he has already informed his union of what is going on and I have told him to keep a diary if the comments he makes. My dad is a very good man and is good at his work, he just wants to help people, I'm so angry about this!
