Ok here is my dilemma, up until the end of August I worked full time. Due to childcare problems which was affecting my dd I needed to get something to fit in with school hours. I took a slight drop to start a new part time job working 4 days a week and am also working 1 day a week in my old role until a replacement is sorted. My new boss has already said they he is not sure he will have enough to keep me occupied based on my previous experience, which has left me feeling a bit lost. I have seen another part time job which will be slightly more hours than my new job (same grade as my previous f/t job) and more of a role I can get my teeth into but what do I put on my application form, do I list my new part time as well as my old job which I am covering as my current role, how can I explain it? do I need to explain it. Am I made to do this..? Hmm

Put all your jobs on. If you show start dates and write "to date" or "ongoing" instead of an end date it should be clear. There is bound to be a box you can write in, explaining that you have 2 jobs. Also, make clear that you will give both current jobs up if offered the one you apply for (if that's the case), or if you plan to keep one on, say so.

Make your situation and your intentions clear, otherwise you risk not even getting an interview. I ruled out an applicant once: she had a PT job and was attending college (FT? PT? she didn't say), nor did she say if she planned to keep either going if she was appointed. I couldn't fathom her intentions at all and there were plenty of other candidates to choose from. She was my reserve, she was in fact offered an interview at a day's notice; HR phoned and texted her on 2 numbers, and she never replied to HR! Sorry, have derailed a bit. I'm sure this won't be you.
