Dear all
I am a former teacher, in the process of setting up a business using my extensive experience of working in Early Years, to help adults support children's learning in their pre-school and early years at school.
The workshops are designed to provide fun, practical hands-on, play-based opportunities for adults (mums, dads, grandparents, carers or practitioners) or adults and children.
The workshops can be: in my home, or participants can host a friendly relaxing daytime or evening session, over a coffee in their own home. Play groups can host my sessions in suitable venues where the children can be supervised and a group of adults can learn with me.
I am keen to encourage dads to take an active role and I am looking at Saturday morning sessions. These were popular when I ran them for the expat community overseas, but I wonder...
Is this something that appeals to people here?
I would appreciate comments and feedback.
Many thanks
