Ladies with big boobs - would this product interest you? Honest feedback needed

I’ve always had larger than life boobs, and after two children they got even bigger and then decided to head south much to my dismay! Due to this I find it really difficult to find nightwear that provides sufficient support, especially nightwear that is fun, sexy but comfortable and makes me a feel good about myself. As a bustier woman that isn’t plus sized (I have quite a petite frame), I find the options few and far between.

Is there anyone else that feels the same? Would you be interested in nightwear and loungewear that provides hidden support and keeps your boobs away from your knees? Smile

Please let me know your thoughts x

Yes I would although I have no shame and sleep nude

I think m&s already do night time vests with support

I must admit I was hoping this post was about some kind of shelf to rest them on Grin

Chachah · 17/09/2014 14:03

Yes. I'm always looking for nightwear that will support my boobs, and it's near impossible to find.

makeminea6x · 17/09/2014 14:05

Not nightwear as I also sleep naked. But yes to supportive lounge wear. And if you could do bras with a larger cup than is currently available then I'd be your biggest fan!

itsbetterthanabox · 17/09/2014 14:11

Yes this would be good. Although I am plus size and these things don't exist for the big busted of us either! So don't limit sizing. It would be comfier.

JetsAndSugar · 17/09/2014 14:11

No. I wear a bra under my nightwear.

I buy normal nightwear that I like and pair it with a bra, which is usually sexier than normal daytime wear (which has to provide shape and support and look good under clothes)

Hidden support clothing always gives a bad shape IMO. There is actually quite a lot of it about. Hidden support usually means a big elasticated sling giving you ugly mono-boob or floppy boob.

If you actually wanted to lift and separate, you would need so many different bra sizes to go with each pair of pyjamas that I can't see how it could be cost effective unless you make each pair to order.

Also, I am a 32F, I have to try on loads of 32Fs to find the right fit for me. This seems to be common with big boobs. Combining that with finding a style of nightwear that I actually like would be near impossible.

Just wear a bra. Like you would with daytime clothes.

ElphabaTheGreen · 17/09/2014 14:11

Bravissimo already does a really nice range of nightwear with different types of integral support, so you'd be up against an underwear giant if you went ahead.

itsbetterthanabox · 17/09/2014 14:14

Jets it's not about how it looks it's about it being comfy. Wearing hidden support sleepwear is comfier that normal sleepwear. Wearing a bra to bed would he horrible! So uncomfortable. I don't care about then being lifted high and perfectly round when I'm asleep. Just light support that is more flattering than none is good. I don't get how you can wear a bra to bed!

CopyWoman · 17/09/2014 14:32

Bravissimo are pricey though, so if you offered it at more reasonable prices, you might get somewhere.

Hakluyt · 17/09/2014 14:33

Why do you need to support your boobs at night?

Mylovelylovelyhorse · 17/09/2014 14:37

^ Haklyut, so they don't get rolled on by dh / dc when they're on one side of the bed and I'm on the other

Corita85 · 17/09/2014 14:37

Thanks for your replies. Glad its not just me then. I'm a 30J so only have a few options at Bravissimo and Figleaves.

I'm not really a big fan of their ranges. Would be nice to have something in silk or satin - and a style that the hubby would appreciate if you know what I mean lol. Would you pay a bit more for something in a higher quality fabric?

Hakluyt - I find it uncomfortable to sleep without a bra so would be nice to have nightwear that kept them in one place!

I think the Bravissimo stuff is great, but they don't do anything with long sleeves. If you provided that and undercut them I would be interested.

bluejeansandbabies · 17/09/2014 14:40

Oh and I wouldn't pay more for silks and satins because I like to be warm at night.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 17/09/2014 14:42

Hakluyt for me it wouldn't necessarily be about for when I'm asleep but more when I'm hangibg round the house in my night wear. Currently have to put a bra on straight away when I get up or only take it off just before I get in bed.

I'd be interested OP.

WalkingWolf · 17/09/2014 14:52

Definitely the lounge wear. Not so much the nightwear.

Hakluyt · 17/09/2014 15:29

Ah- so do people find it uncomfortable to go bra less, or is it the look? Now my boobs are much bigger I actually find it more comfortable not to wear a bra..............

MsBug · 17/09/2014 15:35

I wear stuff like this for bed although for comfort not to please my 'hubby'.

They are also good to wear when breastfeeding.

I have a couple of tops from Debenhams and still wear my breastfeeding ones from jojo maman even though I've now stopped bfing.

dingit · 17/09/2014 15:39

Yes it would be nice to have more choice.
Whoever asked upthread why you need support at night has obviously not got boobs the clap ( Miranda style)

dingit · 17/09/2014 15:40

*that clap

KeepAbreast · 17/09/2014 16:01

Yes, although I have always found existing tops/pyjama tops with hidden support to be totally useless. I think a top would have to have a full built-in bra to be of any use... and then I may as well just wear a bra. It would have to at least have a proper, sturdy, sufficiently tight under-bust band and adjustable straps.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 17/09/2014 17:31

Uncomfortable Hak. Down to my knees and heavy Hmm

ShoeWhore · 17/09/2014 20:00

I like the Bravissimo ones - I have a PJ top from there which looks really great on. How would you compete with them OP? (I'm not being mean but obviously you would need to think about what would differentiate your offering from theirs?)

thedrummerswife · 17/09/2014 20:06

Yes I would welcome sleepwear with support, especially short chemise style nighties in cotton/viscose type material. Please not a bra type support with wires though, they are uncomfortable. I'd rather have a sort of built in shelf.

InMySpareTime · 19/09/2014 09:47

Loungewear would be nice, soft cotton jersey, nice and warm and snuggly but supportive.
Could you please make smaller sizes too? Bravissimo doesn't go below 30 band for nightwear and I'm a 26.
You might be able to tap into the teen market too, young women who want support in smaller band sizes without underwiring.
