Iv got to go back to work next Monday after 9 months of maternity leave, iv got to work 34 hours a week and I can't bare the thought of it, I just keep crying. I have to return to work so I need to come to terms with it but I don't know how???

Anyone else feel the same ??

Vicky you have written exactly how my life is and how we feel.

We have been together for 9 years we've had our couple time then we decided it was family time which is what we now enjoy doing. In time we will get our couple time back but at the moment out life is great.

My ds won't take a bottle so he is sort of going to have to go cold turkey or give in and have a bottle for my mum.

On my 3 short days 7-1 he will be fine without a feed, my 2 long days 7-6:30 I'm not so sure I think he will struggle on them days Sad

My mum is looking after him so I know he is in great hands and he sees her most days anyway so won't be much different for him so I know he will be happy xx

I go back to work in 2 weeks (3 days only, for now) and I could have written this post. It makes me cry every time I think about it x

It's just crazy how much you can love someone isn't it once you've had a baby you realise what love really is, as cheesy as it sounds. I think it's because they depend on a you for everything, they physically and mentally NEED you which makes it so special .

We will all obviously go back to work and in a few months I'm guessing we will all feel fine, we will be in a routine and it will be normal we just got to be strong now I suppose Sad

I am due back in a couple of weeks and feel awful about it.
I work part time and in some ways I am ready to return, but know I am going to be knackered as both myself and dh work shifts. Dd is still waking most nights. I will get about 3 hours if I am lucky when I work the late shifts. She will do short days at nursery but the guilt is there.
I just feel sad about it all.

How was it? Are you all ok?
Our first morning at nursery was good - am hoping tomorrow will be ok too.
