Hello ladies and gentlemen, I have a job interview today. Its for work in a call centre recieving inbound calls (customer calling me, not cold calling) and i've done this work before and really enjoyed it. I'd be extremely happy if I got this job. When interviewer asks if I have any questions I struggle. I have 2 wrote down on a pad. Will it look silly when they ask if I have any questions, if I pull my pad out?
Questions I have so far is;

  1. Is the position temporary or permenant?

  2. When will the job commence for the succesful applicants?

So any more questions and I'd be over the moon.

Thanks xxx

Another good one is at the end of the interview, when asked say 'have I done enough to convince you that I really want this job??'

It shows you are keen, that you really want to make an impression and you care about how the interview went.

You could always ask questions about any training opportunities, that goes down quite well in interviews. Good luck.

HAve got to say flumpybumpy, what a great question, I'm going to steal that for an interview next week

1)I am keen to further develop my skills and experience. What sort of scope is there to do this within your company? What is the company's policy on providing training so employees can keep up their skills or acquire new ones? (Are they IIP recognised)
2)What particular computer equipment and software do you use?
3)What kind of work can I expect to be doing the first year?
4)How important does management consider the function of this department/position?
5)What is the organisation?s plan for the next five years, and how does this department fit in?
6)What are the day-to-day responsibilities of this job?
Could you describe your company's management style and the type of employee who fits well with it?

Just to let you know I got the job from the interview I asked that in and my new boss told me that she hadn't heard anyone ask better question and that's what made me stick in her head!!!
