anyone know about this?

have been at place of work almost 7 years, and the bullying, constant pressure and volume of work has done me in...no contract, management changes its mind on holiday pay, sick pay etc at a moments notice, min wage too...I've been loyal, trustworthy, worked very hard and basically been s**t on most of the time....I took the job as the hrs were flexible round school hrs but thats changing too

so basically I've had enough

have been trying to get another job, but to no avail, so far

I think you have to be out of work 6 months, if you just resign.

You can claim, but you might not get it awarded for up to 26 weeks.

Check out the JSA leaflet on gov.uk

You might be able to claim if you have a good reason for leaving your job. I claimed under contribution based when I had to quit after being turned down for flexible working and was awarded it with no problems (think there was a 10 day wait to start though)

If they're changing your flexible working options, I would have thought this was a good reason, but best to ring them and check
