When someone leaves a job, is there wording to use in final settlement?

When someone leaves a job and they are paid for all the things that are owed, such as holiday not taken, is there any specific wording that can be used to prevent them coming back and arguing that they should be paid more?

It is a complication over holiday pay issues but a figure has been agreed verbally, so as both sides are happy, can it be formalised in some way. Or could they come back at a later date and say actually they feel they should be paid for x more days?

Note: Not to do with my current employment, asking on behalf of someone else.

It's not clear whether the person you are asking of behalf of is the employer or employee. If it's the employer they should be paying for proper advice themselves, but yes, a settlement/compromise agreement would contain wording preventing the employee bringing future claims.

Yes, the employer is going to call their legal advice line. Thanks.
