What should I expect from an OH Assist telephone referral?

I have received a text message from Occupational Health assist to say they will ring me on Monday. What should I expect from the call? I'm unsure if they use this telephone call to make their report or if it's just for taking initial details.
I'm currently in work, health problems are not having an impact but employer is essentially downgrading the job I do, replacing it with the next pay band down, keeping 2 of us who will line mange the other staff.
I have applied to do the job and have applied for a different job within the office too. If I don't get either of these jobs I will be put into the job of the people who were successful.
This is likely to be a job involving sitting all day which having had surgery on my spine is difficult and exasperates my condition. the jobs I have applied for do not involve sitting all day. I've had occupational health reports in the past and I've found them wishy washy, and they seem reluctant to be specific.
Any advice welcome.

When they call, clear up whether it is just an admin call to take admin your details. If they move onto health questions, tell them you are delighted to answer the questions and ask them to email you the questions and tell them you will reply shortly in writing to those questions. You will then have time to consider the questions carefully.

Answering health questions on the phone to someone who may or may not write down what you say to them in the way you said it is not the way to proceed.

Thanks, that's good advice.

Our OH call to book an appointment first, as it's not a call you can really take in an open plan office. I have a diagnosed chronic illness and the relief in the OH persons voice when I confirmed it was audible. So line up your medical advice.
