Compromise agreements

Can anyone recommend a good solicitor or company, my older partner has been treated very badly by her company who I believe have treated her badly due to her age. They have offered a compromise agreement and have offered to pay her legal fees .

Irwin Mitchell are good but it depends on who the company use as it could be a conflict of interest.

If you say where you are people might be able to recommend someone local.

Can highly recommend Gilla Harris at SNR Denton - she was brilliant when I left my old company under a compromise agreement. I did it all over the phone/email so you wouldn't need to be near her. She also subsequently dealt with a very complex case on behalf of a friend of my mothers who was treated appallingly by a city bank. Wouldn't hesitate to use her again.

There may well be a limit to the amount they pay. Check this first.

Thanks for the advice so far, we are in Lincolnshire. The company have offered £350 solicitors fees but we would be willing to increase this amount if necessary.
Can I also thank the replies so far.

Ok, that fee is literally to review the agreement, not really to advise. It's about an hour of a Central London solictor's time

Thanks, I understand it's not a lot for solicitors fees, but she does need specialist advice and support.

She'll get better value for that more locally. I can recommend Birketts in Cambridge, don't know anyone on Lincolnshire though. Know a couple in Peterborough but not specific experience to be able to actively recommend.

OP, do you have budget for advice over and above the C Agt review?

Citizens Advice
www.adviceguide.org.uk
Is she a member of a union?
Does she have any legal cover via home insurance etc?
